Carl W. Lagoni, AIA - President
As President, Carl Lagoni is in charge of all aspects of day-to-day operations. His passion for meeting the challenges our clients bring to us with innovative design concepts and unparalleled service helps set the standard for professionalism and integrity in the field of residential architecture. In addition, Carl fine tunes and refines many of Bassenian/Lagoni Architects' award-winning designs. His keen eye for detail and marketability helps garner the firm an unprecedented number of industry awards.

Lee R. Rogaliner - Chief Financial Officer
Joining the firm in 1983, Mr. Rogaliner is responsible for administration and financial management. Lee prides himself in developing and maintaining solid business practices along with a strong staff to deliver a consistent, high level of service to the firm's builder-developer clients. Jeffrey T. LaFetra, AIA - Executive Vice President
A licensed Architect with more than 25 years of design and management experience, Jeff joined Bassenian/Lagoni Architects in 1995. He manages the firm’s business activities, and assists in business development and client relations both domestically and internationally. Jeff's multi-disciplined background enables him to readily assess business and client needs and recommend solutions to expedite the design and planning process.

Scott R. Adams, AICP - Senior Principal
A University of California, Berkeley graduate, and member of the American Institute of Certified Planners, Scott joined the firm in 1989. Responsible for directing all comprehensive land planning efforts, he is an expert in integrating the latest high-density architectural concepts with innovative land planning techniques. His experience leading public agency presentations involving myriad interdisciplinary issues ensures outstanding project results. Under Scott leadership, Bassenian/Lagoni Architects' integrated approach to community planning and architectural innovation contributes to excellent results for the firm’s builder-developer clients.

David M. Kosco, AIA - Senior Principal
Dave, a Kent State graduate and licensed Architect, joined the firm in 1986. Day to day he shares in directing the design efforts of the company, while managing relationships with a number of our builder-developer clients. Dave is instrumental in product development and passionate about housing. "I've been fascinated with housing since early childhood. Of course, then, I had no idea of its magnitude, or how much more important it would be today with our changing resources and demographics. I look forward to the future in housing and our role in shaping it with our clients both here in the United States and abroad."

Jeffrey A. Lake, AIA - Senior Principal
Jeff, a licensed Architect, is a graduate of the architecture program at Ecole de Beaux Arts in France and California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Jeff is responsible for client management, project visioning and design, as well as project value engineering and field evaluation. His extensive background in the home building industry, leading community design and product development for a national home builder, gives him exceptional insight into the requirements of successful design and service for today's production builders.

Steven M. Dewan, AIA - Principal
Steven is responsible for the staff management, staff development and scheduling of the Design Department. In addition, he manages client relationships, oversees select design projects and the firm's charitable projects. Steven's diligent, thorough and decisive approach in these significant areas consistently results in meeting or exceeding client needs. His ability to strategically maneuver resources creates a highly effective workflow within the company. A California Polytechnic State University, Pomona graduate and licensed Architect, Steven has been with the firm since 1987. His studies included one year at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.

Kevin M. Karami - Principal
Mr. Karami, with more than 20 years experience, holds an Architectural Degree from Southern California Institute of Architecture. Kevin's responsibilities include client management, product design, design team management and research and development. He has been instrumental in the evolution of new design directions for the firm, most notably in the development of exterior elevation theme styles. His finely honed design sense frequently contributes to solutions for builder clients as well as the mentoring of the firm's junior design staff.

Kenneth C. Niemerski, AIA - Principal
Ken is a principal in the firm with nearly 20 years experience. He oversees the Production Department including project management as well as the firm's CAD and computer operations. Ken joined Bassenian/Lagoni Architects in 1988, after receiving his Bachelor of Architecture degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Ken holds California Architect registration (#C-23971), is an active member in the American Institute of Architects and participates in the Orange County Chapter of the BIA.
